As some of you know, I had an interview last week with a local nonprofit for the position of volunteer coordinator. Even though I have a good amount of experience, I didn't think the interview went that well because it was so rigorous and intense, but today I got the call!!! I GOT THE JOB!!!
I can't believe it! I have a real job! It is meaningful and I will be good at it! I am so thankful!

YEAH!!! I read the post on it hoped you got it. I'd love to hear more about it...what are the details of the position??

Thanks guys! Basically I am going to be working for a literacy organization on recruiting, screening, matching and retaining volunteers for their many programs (including ESL, GED classes, adult ed as well as programs that provide tutoring for students still in school). It's pretty exciting!
